As an artist, I am completely self-taught and have been drawing and painting, mostly in manga-style, since my early teens. The art of manga has been a great love and influence all my life, though I also am a fan of everything fantastic and imaginative. My prefered drawing tools are pencil and inking pens/quills; my coloring tools range from colored pencils, watercolors to Copic markers. Recently I have also began to experiment with coloring through Photoshop on the computer.

My Professional History:
In 1996, I completedmy first shoujo-manga named “Cherry Blossom”, a short story involving a foreign girl’s struggle to be accepted after moving to a different country. It’s around 90 pages long, written entirely in German and was published as the Feature in the German Magazine “AnimaniA” in a Special edition in April of 1998. That edition had 25,000 printed copies.

I have done a couple of Doushinjis since and am currently working on a new manga project.
In the recent years I have traveled to conventions around the country to display and sell my work. I take commissions when I feel inspired by the project. I have also held art tables, auctions and guest panels for my craft. It is first and foremost a fiercely loved hobby, and not a mean to sustain myself. I live in Atlanta, GA, but hope to move out toward the west coast within a year or two.
